I Hate Mid-Majors

I am flipping my lid on all sportswriters. First there was the expected, but still pathetic, Duke bashing. Now the continued onslaught of "don't call them a mid-major" articles and fluff pieces. Mr. Daugherty, I would like to know a few things. 1. What conference does Xavier play in? 2. Does that conference play football? 3. Does anyone watch that conference on tv? Does anyone care about that conference?

The answer, sir, is no to all above. They don't play football, no one watches that conference, and no one cares. Sir, Xaiver is a mid-major and after they lose this weekend, no one will care about them again.

Not Possible

I flipped my lid when I saw this pic for 2 reasons: 1. no one on Duke can dunk; 2. no one can dunk on Zoo.

Texas = NBA prep squad

I flipped my lid when I read this quote by Texas coach Rick Barnes (aka the anti-Coach K) -

" We would love to win a national championship, but we're not obessessed with it because we're obsessed with these guys trying to live their NBA dream. What's happened to Kevin Durant, LeMarcus Aldridge, and T.J. Ford -- I'd give up a national title for all those guys to live their dream."
